"Thats why you're the judge and I'm the law-talking guy."
Thank God for Lionel Hutz.
“I've argued in front of every judge in this state. Often as a lawyer.”
I'm just your non-typical attorney located in the Denver Colorado area (no, it doesn't snow here all of the time, and no, we don't ride chair lifts out of our buildings onto the ski lifts). I practice in whatever areas I happen to fall into. I've done foreclosure, and now I do securities litigation. Next year I'll do criminal law and the year after that I'll probably do estate planning.
This blog is simply my take on the world. Usually the subject is legal, but I don't shy from political, economics or a variety of other subjects because they tend to eventually impact the law one way or another.
Sometimes I get bored and I simply post random things that come to mind or I find online. I still think that the Simpsons is/was one of the greatest tv shows ever made, and I still think that Airplane! was one of the greatest movies ever made (looks like I picked the wrong day to stop sniffing glue!).
I went to college and law school in western NY, which I generally still believe to be one of the most beautiful parts of the country.
Somehow, despite living in Colorado, I am a fan of the NY Rangers, NE Patriots, NY Mets, Colorado Rapids, Brandon Wheat Kings and a handful of other teams that nobody has ever heard of.
I currently work as a contract attorney in downtown Denver (help! the job market here sucks!), and I work every so often as an adjunct instructor at a local community college, teaching classes such as Torts, Legal Research & Writing II, and Ethics.
Otherwise, I'm just a law talking guy who despite his age, still listens to Crass, the Subhumans and the Vandals, still watches terrible b movies and slasher flicks, still watches the Simpsons and still..well...you get the point.
